Covid 19 (Coronavirus) Protocols
The following procedures and working practices have been adopted and will take immediate effect in accordance with both Government and Public Health England advice and guidance and is in response to the COVID19 pandemic.
This to ensure the safety of customers and cattery staff.
Strict appointment times will be operated in order to facilitate only 1 client on the premises at any one time.
Payment is by cash or cheque and can be placed in the payment bin provided in order to reduce contact.
A strict minimum 2 meter distance will be observed at all times while on the premises.
Cats will be left in the office and clients will not be permitted to enter the main cattery building unless exceptional circumstances exist.
Clients who have experienced any of the following symptoms must inform the proprietor before entering the premises.
Experienced a loss of smell or taste
Is living with someone diagnosed as having Coronavirus
Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate clients wishes it must be remembered that the safety of customers, staff and the cats will be paramount and is not negotiable
In addition we have revised and updated our cleaning and disinfecting regime with regard to the government guidance on managing the risk of COVID19 which includes,
Carrying out a COVID19 risk assessment.
Introducing cleaning, hand washing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance
Taking all reasonable steps to maintain social distancing.
The use of hand sanitiser with a minimum 70% alcohol content is available and should be used.
