After serious consideration, discussion with family and as the result of changing personal circumstances I have taken the difficult decision to cease trading next year. As a result "Kopperkins Boarding Cattery" will close on the 17th September 2024.

I would like to thank all my loyal customers who have supported me throughout the last 24 years and made "Kopperkins" the success it has been and would like to take this oppertunity to extend to them and their furry friends my best wishes for the future.

Kopperkins is a family run cattery set in a quiet semi rural location just outside Whitstable, Kent.

We are the longest running cattery in Whitstable with nearly 20 years experience. The vast majority of our customers return to us year after year.

Being a small familly run business we can boast a more personal intimate experience.

We are now the only cattery in the area which can provide semi open fresh air runs and outside views. 
Our boarding cattery is regularly inspected by the Environmental Health Officer and Licensing Authority.
We are also inspected and approved by our local Veterinary Surgeon who is also on call twenty four hours a day.
Viewings are welcome and can be arranged as required.

History

Originally designed as a small licensed boarding cattery which could provide a high standard of care with a personal approach to its residents.

"Kopperkins" was built in mid 2002 to high specifications, the name "Kopperkins" being the original name of the property which was retained.

Since then the cattery has gone from strength to strength and has developed a loyal customer base with most clients returning year upon year. It is licensed by the local authority to current licensing requirements and has a dedicated veterinary surgeon on call.

Kopperkins has previously been nominated for the Boarding Cattery of the Year and was one of the runners up in the competition.
